
Mix dry ingredients and set aside
Place butter into a medium glass bowl big, and melt in a microwave oven (about 30 sec).
Whisk egg into butter until thoroughly emulsified.
Whisk buttermilk into egg/butter mixture
Stir dry ingredients into the batter, and allow to stand for a couple of minutes.
Spoon onto a hot griddle and cook till golden brown on bottom. Turn and cook until other side is golden brown.
Serve with butter, and maple syrup
