Buttermilk Cornbread

 1 cup flour
 ½ tsp baking soda
 1 ½ tsp baking powder
 1 tbsp sugar
 1 tsp salt
 ¾ cup cornmeal
 1 cup buttermilk
 2 eggs
 4 tbsp melted butter

Preheat oven to 425º

Sift together dry ingredients.

Beat together butter, eggs and buttermilk

Stir dry ingredients into liquid with a few strokes

Spread batter evenly into a lightly greased 9" x 9" pan.  Bake for 20 to 25 minutes (inserted toothpick should come out clean)
