
Combine first four ingredients in a large mixing bowl. Add the cranberries and walnuts to coat and stir to coat with .
Cream together orange juice, sugar, butter, egg, and orange peel. Add to flour, cranberry, nut mixture and stir with a wooden spoon until just blended.
Pour into a greased 9x5 or 8x4 loaf pan. Bake at 350°F for 55 to 60 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
Cool in pan for 10 minutes then turn out onto a wire rack to cool for at least another 20 m before serving.
