1777 Larimer Street

When Camille and I split up, I bought a condominium apartment in 1994 in The Windsor building at 1777 Larimer Street.  The purchase price was $99,000 – a steal at the time.

The place was a nice apartment with two bedrooms, a pullman kitchen, a decent sized living area, and an enclosed “patio”.  Over the years that I lived there, I implemented a number of major upgrades to the unit, and sold it in 2001 for $270,000 dollars and bought my next home in Highlands Garden Village in Northwest Denver.

Below are galleries of photos showing its original condition as well as the improvements over the years.

Starting with something close to the original layout, the following gallery was shot in March, 1996:

Moving on to December, 1997, I had completely renovated the kitchen with new cabinets and countertops, and begun the project of incorporating the “patio” into the living space, as well as the beginning of providing a passageway between this newly incorporated space into the main bedroom.

Finally, moving on to December, 1998, here are pics of the mostly-complete apartment:

This last album, shot in May, 2001, shows the apartment’s state when I was moving out and into my last house in Denver:
