Parmesan Garlic Crostini

 1 cup unsalted butter
 1 cup packed aged parmesan cheese, freshly grated (about 5 oz)
 1 tsp kosher salt
 1 ½ tsp granulated garlic
 2 tbsp Italian flat-leaf parsley, finely chopped
 1 Italian baguette, cut diagonally into 3/8 inch-thick slices

Mix softened butter, garlic, salt, parsley, and the parmesan cheese.

Slice baguette on the diagonal into 3/8 inch thick slices.

Spread each slice of bread with about 1 tablespoon of butter mixture.

Bake on a flat pan in a 375º oven for 12 to 15 minutes.  Serve with hot soup.
